Daily blog for Thursday October 14, 2021

3 reasons why 1. My Mom didn't come to my high school graduations. She use my brother's as an excuse. What kind of parent does not care about their own child enough to come to their graduation?  2. I never got asked to school a single dance in High school. The only dance's I went to were girls choice dances where I asked people to go. 3. None of the guys I had true crushes on cared enough to give me a chance. I understand that not every guy I like is going to like me back. But the number of guys I was not good enough for i much greater than the 2 boyfriends I actually had.  Daily scripture reading: Joshua 4, 5, and 6. Luke 2: 1-24 Daily bible verse Isaiah 54:10 For the mountains shall depart, and the hills be removed; but my kindness shall not depart from thee, neither shall the covenant of my peace be removed, saith the Lord that hath mercy on thee.

3 reasons why 1. I have never had a true friend. 2. Not one person who bullied me has ever apologized to me. People who have only because they wanted something (Wendy Bates and Angel Andrus) don't count. 3. I never got to be a Mom. Since I didn't post yesterday I will be posting 2 days of Bible reading.  Yesterday's Bible reading: Deuteronomy 33 and 34. Luke 1:24-56 You version Bible app does not give yesterday's daily verse. Today's reading: Joshua 1, 2, and 3. Luke 1:57-80 Daily Verse: 1 John 4:15 Whosoever shall confess that Jesus is the Son of God, God dwelleth in him, and he in God.

Daily blog for Sunday October 10 2021

Every Sunday I will be journaling the previous week's events. I work the 6-2:30 shift. I work at home. I take calls for Blue Cross Blue Shield Medicare Advantage. Provider services. I am a SME ( Subject Matter Expert). For 2 hours twice a week I answer questions in chat and take supervisor calls if there is not a Team lead available to take the call. Last Thursday was my first day as a SME and I had to take a sup call. It is my one fear but I know that God knows I can handle it. I used to be afraid to work in a call center because I was afraid of dealing with rude customers. Now I love it.  On Friday I did my coaching with my team lead. Next week I will start leadership training. This is so that once there is a position open for a Team lead I am trained and ready to go. Other than that I had a good week at work. My cousin's kids both had dates for Homecoming last night. So we took their pictures here. I am having Walmart print them and putting them in frames for them. So they...

Mexican Casserole

Wetback Stew. Before anyone comes at me. Yes I know this recipe has a racist title. My sister likes to call it "the stew". When we were kids and she would ask for "the stew" my mom somehow always knew what she was asking for. I am not sure where this recipe originated from.  Ingredients 2 lds ground beef 1 cup onion chopped 2 1\2 cups shredded cheese. I use cheddar but any cheese works. Whatever you like. 2 cans cream of mushroom or cream of celery soup 1 can tomato sauce 1\2 to 3\4 bag corn tortilla chips crushed Flour tortillas Sour cream 1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. (176 celcius). Grease a 9x13 baking dish. 2. Cook hamburger and onions. Drain. 3. Mix everything except the tortillas, sour cream and 1\2 cup of cheese in a large bowl.  4. Spread mixture into prepared pan. Top with remaining cheese. 5. Cover with foil and bake for 30 minutes or until heated through. 6. Seve rolled up in flour tortillas with sour cream.  Yummy!!!
